Prerequisite for some installs, renovations and power upgrades

Electrical installation report
Clarity before the work starts

Before a renovation, a power upgrade or a major install, I check how your installation really is: consumer unit, protections, earthing and critical points. You get a written report with photos and measurements — in your language — so you know what can be done safely and what must be upgraded first.

Why this step matters

In South Tenerife it’s common to find mixed boards, undersized cables, one RCD for almost the whole house, or installs that “work” until you ask for more power or a renovation. Quote blind and the job often cannot be delivered as promised — frustration and wasted money for both sides.

The report puts the facts in writing before you commit. You decide with information; I only take on work that can be finished safely.

What’s included

When it’s a prerequisite

Note: prerequisite for some installs, renovations and power upgrades. A one-off fault or a standard CIE is handled separately.

How it works

1. Tell me the goal

Renovation, more power, AC, kitchen… what you want to achieve.

2. Visit + measurements

I check the real installation — not just a photo of a closed board.

3. Written report

Photos, findings and next step. Only then we quote the major work.

FAQ

Why not a direct quote for the renovation or upgrade?

Without seeing the installation, a fixed price is a guess. The report avoids surprises and undeliverable work.

Is this the same as a CIE?

No. The CIE is the official certificate for the power company. This report is the diagnostic step before major work.

If I continue with you for the job?

We agree in writing: in many cases the report fee is deducted from the major job if you proceed with us.

Start with the report

Clarity first. Then work that can actually be delivered.
